Jose is the heartbeat of the Coachella branch, combining desert wisdom with visionary landscaping techniques — his roots run deep in the valley, where he and his father built a reputation for excellence and reliability.
In 1989, my father, Filiberto Martinez, started a landscaping business in Coachella, CA. He was an educated poor man from Chichihualco, Guerrero, Mexico who, despite his humble beginnings, had a dream and the determination to make it happen. His hard work and exceptional skills quickly made his business flourish.
As the demand for his services grew, my father invited his brothers from Mexico to join him. He taught them the trade and the value of hard work. Each brother eventually branched off to start their own successful landscaping businesses, spreading the Martinez legacy of quality and commitment. His influence extended beyond our immediate family — he also taught many of our cousins and in-laws the skills needed to succeed in the landscaping industry.
My father passed on the same principles to me and my two brothers. We helped expand the family business, upholding the Martinez name as a symbol of excellence. Inspired by his legacy, I moved to Spokane, WA and started my own landscaping company. Thanks to the teachings and values my father instilled in me, I was able to build a business here — and the Spokane community welcomed me with open arms.
Our story is one of perseverance, family, and dedication. From Coachella to Spokane, the Martinez name stands for exceptional landscaping services and a commitment to hard work. Thank you for helping us continue my father's legacy — we look forward to bringing beauty and quality to your landscape for years to come.
